Okay, I get it. Then, can Joe put out an email alert to our list saying that everyone adversely impacted by flooding Sunday attend the Council Meeting tonight because NENA is going to ask that all building stop until arroyo is completed?

We are not allowed to communciate with Brad or other councilors about our appeal. We can discuss the flooding and fixing of the arroyo. Those people adversely impacted should be there.

Let's do it! Has anyone called Brad to give him heads-up on this? Can someone put out alert to our email list to attend council meeting tonight? Are any of the people who got hit by the holding pond water on our email list? They need to know what we are going to do.

I agree with Lisa Abeyta that we should ask the City Council to stop development in this area until the arroyo is finished. We will be there tonight for our appeal. The developer wants to build 10 homes on the north side of the arroyo on 1.88 acres that will be along Eagle Rock. The city and hearing officer say he can because he can count the two acres of AMAFCA arroyo toward the 3 du. City Council will decide tonight whether to accept that decision or not.

The holding pond broke again Sunday afternoon around 4:30.
Water came down Oakland and turned north on Barstow to arroyo, so it missed us this time.
Nann Winter called and said some government agency gave Llave Construction a permit for holding pond, and there would be some insurance stuff involved, so everyone should take photos of damage.
I'm thinking we should attend, in mass, the next Arroyo/Flood Control Board meeting and see if we can get someone, like our representative Ron Brown to pay attention to these problems? What does everyone think?

Yeah, Michele says the arroyo behind her over by Desert Ridge Trails is flowing heavily

Barstow's flowing - wonder if there's any fish?
