Subject: NORTH STAR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Construction Meeting Notice June 7,
2006

Several NAACA residents, along with neighbors from Nor Este Neighborhood
Association, have voiced complaints concerning the construction of North
Star Elementary at Ventura & Florence.  The complaints have come from
differences between the way APS and their architects presented the layout
and plans for the new elementary school, at their June 2004 tent meeting,
and the way it is being built.

A joint task force was formed to address these issues.  APS has agreed to a
meeting to answer these questions.  A 7:00pm meeting is scheduled for this
Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at Double Eagle Elementary School on 8901 Lowell NE.
A notice with the agenda items has been attached to this email.

I am sorry for the short notice.  Your attendance is highly encouraged.
