SUMMARY OF PAC AND COMMUNITY INPUT MEETINGS

Three separate meetings were held February 16, March 22, and April 24, 2006,
at La Cueva Police Substation / Fire Station No. 20, Desert Ridge Middle
School and Dennis Chavez Elementary School. Colleen K. Frenz, COA-DMD,
David Mahlman Architect, Design Consultant, and Phyllis Taylor,
Planner-Consultant defined the limits of the project (3 mile service area),
reviewed existing documents that would guide or influence the development of
the of the North Domingo Baca Multi-Generational Center (NDB MGCenter),
presented area demographics, discussed the Post Occupancy Evaluation of the
Manzano Mesa Multi-Generational Center capturing its good qualities and
areas that could be improved at the NDB MGCenter, reviewed the
Preliminary Needs Assessment, and all attendees filled out the DRAFT survey
questionnaire.

More than 52 residents participated in developing an activities list which
resulted in the Telephone Survey (see results on page 2).

TELEPHONE SURVEY RESULTS

Six Hundred (600) randomly selected residents were surveyed between April
25th and May 5th. Additionally, the surveys completed at the PAC and
Community Input Meetings were counted. All respondents were asked to rank
on how important each activity is to them (1-not important, 5-very
important). The activities highlighted are those favored by the community
and we believe can be included in Phase 1 of the NDB MGCenter.
