[NENA] Where's APD?

Several weeks ago my truck was vandalized , discovered at 0700, shattered  
side window and my cell phone stolen.  Truck at the end of Manuel Cia  
Ct.....pretty bold because there is only one way in and out....if you're in  there, you 
better have business.  $178 in damage for a crummy $40 cell  phone....which 
was disabled within hours.
 
APD call suggested I wait for a few hours for a patrol car or call another  
number to file a report....I opted for the latter.  Either way nothing will  
happen.  
 
Very pleased to see the Supreme Court ruling on gun ownership in DC.   Don't 
own one, but now an interesting option...On whom else can we  rely?
