[NENA] FW: More on Barstow

Not really wishing to increase spam but just a few points:

1) In addition to the increased traffic, the suggested "improvement"
would split the park/trail along the Arroyo, making walking/running/
biking less pleasant and more dangerous for children.

2) School buses handle traffic well to the schools along Barstow, and
reduce traffic in general. We pay taxes to run the school buses, I
personally don't want tax money to go to what I view as unnecessary
bridges. In addition, traffic lights may slow down not only trucks,
but residents too.

3)Since it seems to be quite a debated issue, maybe the city (or NENA)
should survey the residents, and require a good majority (75%?) to
change the status quo.
