[NENA] More on proposal to build a bridge across arroyo at Barstow

Well, now you've got MY attention.
"Of more concern to me is Wyoming. When Paseo was being widened and turned
into a high-speed corridor, the Journal published a long-term plan that
showed Wyoming, Eubank, and one other street being extended to intersect
with Tramway."
I have long held that there would eventually be a connection to Tramway somewhere in this neighborhood, despite assurances I've recieved from the former governor of Sandia Pueblo that there would not. Now, someone else mentions a connector, but Wyoming?
The obvious choice for this connection would have to be from Louisiana. Such a connection would benefit the pueblo tremendously, making the hotel/casino, golf course and services more accessible to residents without having to deal with I-25. The lack of development along Louisiana north of Eagle Rock, along with the property recently obtained by the pueblo makes this a logical choice.
Traffic volume on Wyoming is already becoming a significant issue with those of us north of Alameda. Knowing now that Wyoming will most likely soon be 4 lanes extended beyond Oakland is not welcome news. When the road is widened to 4 lanes, how will those of us who cross Wyoming twice or more daily be able to do so? There are many homes whose yards abut Wyoming who will be severely impacted by widening. As someone who opposed the speed humps on Oakland in favor of closing access entirely at Barstow (as was done on Sabo) frankly, I see a 4 lane Wyoming as a much worse situation than a 2 lane bridge across the arroyo on Barstow.
