<html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">I had a similar experience with reporting neighbors from Modesto behind where I live, after trying to get their attention from my backyard in between trying to compose terrified children who couldn't sleep and believed there was a volcano behind our house. <div><br><div>I called 311 and was told the fireworks number, on calling that one, they asked me for the exact address, I said I did not know the exact address as I lived on R C Gorman, but it is on Modesto between Wyoming and Barstow, very few houses there and practically all of them, but this one, quiet, and it is very obvious as there are 30-50 cars parked in front (I am now pretty sure the exact address of most of the activities was 7911 Modesto). I called around 9:20. I asked them when I should expect someone checking into that to which the dispatcher responded that as I don't know the exact address, and they have so many calls, he was not sure (if they would get to it at all) but he would forward my info!!! </div><div><br></div><div>At that time they were going pretty intensely, and I asked him if he can hear it on the speakerphone, I was inside my house and anyone outside would have noticed/heard/felt it with ease. He said he heard it... I did not see anyone checking it, and I was checking until 11:30 pm. </div><div><br></div><div>Dobrina Teifel</div><div>R C Gorman</div><div><br></div><div><br><div><div>On Jul 6, 2008, at 3:44 PM, John Ingram wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><blockquote type="cite"><table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;"><p>Right you are, Rodney. </p><div> <br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div><p>I called 311 Friday night to file complaint about illegal fireworks coming from North Oakland Court, which is about 3 streets east of Barstow on Oakland.
