<DIV>Dear Members of NENA,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Don’t be afraid to report your neighbor abusing their water!!! We
need to protect whistleblowers as whistleblowers are the necessary checks and
balances. For example, our community park at Nor Este</DIV>
<DIV>will only last as long as people living in Nor Este don't abuse their
watering of their front and back lawns.</DIV>
<DIV>For example, VP of Nor Este waters his lawn every single day!!!
This water abuse is not a good example of a Board Member of Nor Este. It is like
Cummins from the Water Board being busted for over watering. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Last year, the State Elections Chief, Daniel Ivy Soto (who had been just
recently appointed), admitted</DIV>
<DIV>that while he was a criminal defense attorney that several of his clients
reported to him admitting voter</DIV>
<DIV>fraud, of voting more than once. Ivy Soto cited the attorney-client
rights. Well, as you can imagine,</DIV>
<DIV>voter fraud is serious business. So, whether it is a member of a Task Force
being bought or influenced</DIV>
<DIV>to vote not in the interest of the people who elected him to power in the
first place, or whether it is a</DIV>
<DIV>person unwilling to report the very essence of our democracy- voting and
refusing to report voter fraud-</DIV>
<DIV>well, there is a consequence. Ivy-Soto resigned as State Elections in
February 2008. What I find interesting</DIV>
<DIV>is that how could the State Elections man say that while an attorney he
didn't want to report voter fraud</DIV>
<DIV>admitted to him by his clients because he didn't want the spotlight on him
and thought it would harm his</DIV>
<DIV>career in moving up the career ladder. Well, now realize it is this
very same attitude that prevents other</DIV>
<DIV>people from coming forward, too. I noticed that prior to the Board
getting rid of the Nor Este newsletter that</DIV>
<DIV>the Rape Crisis Center had an AD in the paper. Well, it is no wonder
why there are so many unreported rapes</DIV>
<DIV>in Albuquerque, because women don't want to be the center of attention and
have the spotlight put upon</DIV>
<DIV>them.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Don't be afraid to report water abuse, voter fraud (which is the essence of
our democracy) or any other</DIV>
<DIV>abuse. Silence is oppression. </DIV></BODY></HTML>
