members? This incident happened in Vineyard I, which is just north<BR>>
of Desert Ridge Middle School, along Barstow.<BR>><BR>><BR>><BR>>
Lee Ann-<BR>> I wanted to tell you about a disturbing incident that happened
to my son <BR>> today. My boys have a<BR>> 17-year old babysitter
while I'm at work. My 10-year old son was going to <BR>> have a squirt-gun
fight<BR>> with the babysitter, and got his sandals on and went outside
before her. <BR>> He said when he got<BR>> outside, two men, hispanic
looking, with shaved heads, pulled up to the <BR>> house and said "Hey kid
-<BR>> want to go to the LIBRARY with us" ?My son said "I'll check" and ran
back <BR>> into the house and told<BR>> his sitter. She locked the doors,
and went upstairs and watched the truck <BR>> from the upstairs
window,<BR>> and they stayed in front of the house (apparently waiting for my
son to <BR>> return!) for another 5<BR>> minutes, then drove off. My son
and my sitter were shaken up, but didn't <BR>> seem to think about
calling<BR>> 911. I told them that girls AND boys get abducted everyday, and
to not <BR>> hesitate to call 911 next<BR>> time. I called the police and
am filing a report, for the record, but find <BR>> it disturbing that
this<BR>> happened in our neighborhood! My son said he was on the porch area
of the <BR>> yard, which is about 2 feet from<BR>> my front door, and not
hanging out by the roadside, so I find this pretty <BR>> brazen for them to
approach<BR>> him.<BR>><BR>> I have alerted my neighbors, because there
are a lot of little kids that <BR>> tend to run around the<BR>>
neighborhood, that are a lot smaller than my son (I personally do not let
<BR>> my kids go anywhere), and<BR>> my neighbor Dee Dee told me I should
